Bonjour, and bienvenue to my site French Affliction!

My name is Emily –  and, as you’ve probably guessed it, I’m obsessed with all things French!

I spent my gap year in 2010 working in France, and since then I’ve tried to visit France and French-speaking countries as much as possible.

Or failing that, I try to find as many French books, films and baked goods as I can to give myself the impression I’m far away from England and still on the other side of the Channel 🙂

I created this blog so that everyone who’s interested in France and French-speaking countries could come together and share their experiences.
